About

A dedicated mentor, a supply chain program manager, and a social entrepreneur - these ideals help drive my corporate career, academic interests, and community projects. Raised as a small-town kid in Albany, Georgia, USA, I believe that ordinary people can connect with and impact each other on a global scale. From my global travels to Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa I have seen firsthand how a strong supply chain can impact individual lives.

The academic part of Georgia Tech was top-notch, but I really focused on the leadership components of the experience. Student clubs like Student Gov't Association, MLK Celebration, OMED Challenge Program, GTSBE/GT-SHPE, KNIT, Stamps President's Scholars, Honors Program, and ISyE Ambassadors gave me opportunities to lead, experiment, and have some formative failures. I'm probably best known for my role as a Class President and SGA Cabinet mentor as well as being a somewhat eccentric mentor!

Graduating from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a Business Minor, and a Mandarin Minor, I took my interdisciplinary background into the private sector completing internships/capstones with Dow Chemical, JnJ's Pharmaceuticals, Georgia Pacific, and Intel. I then spent ~5 years working full time in Intel's Supply Chain (based out of the Oregon campus) developing expertise in process improvement, project management, strategic facilitation, and business operations.

Outside of Intel, my social impact portfolio includes supporting diversity organizations (SHPE, NSBE, Consortium for the Graduate Study of Management), nonprofit board services, volunteer career coaching / mentoring, and leading a social entrepreneurship that supports careers of underserved populations.

As much as I've loved engineering and technical work, I'll be leaning into the business side of the world and attending UC Berkeley Haas's Full time MBA program this fall.
