About
Hello! My name is Alex Wandrick, and I graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelors in Industrial Engineering in spring of 2018. I currently live in Austin, TX working as a Data Engineer with Apple supporting our Americas Operations team.
My background is in data analytics and business intelligence in the supply chain and operations space. Prior to joining Apple in December 2021, I worked in the Global Operations organization at Dell Technologies for about 3 years post-graduation before rejoining a company that I interned with while at GT called AFS Logistics as a Data Engineer in March of 2021. I enjoy writing code and creating solutions for our supply chain segment of the business, refining existing processes, and enabling teams to access and leverage the data needed to do their jobs quickly and effectively.
A bit about me, I was born in Atlanta and bounced around the northern suburbs while growing up (Dunwoody, Norcross, and Alpharetta). I attended Milton High School, and normally visit Atlanta a few times a year to visit family and friends that are still in the area. I love to stay active, whether it be walking, running, weight training, yoga, fitness classes, you name it! I manage to close my rings on my Apple Watch almost every day one way or another. I'm a nerd when it comes to personal finance, credit card points and miles, and video games. When I'm at home, I'm usually watching Survivor (or some other form of shamelessly corny reality TV) with my girlfriend or playing with my cat, Padre.
