About
Jenifer is currently fulfilling her dream of providing Product & Go-to-Market strategic consulting for tech start-ups through the Newchip Accelerator based in Austin, Texas. Her career focus has been in leading global software-as-a-service (SaaS) product teams. She was the VP of Product for digital video products at Scientific Atlanta (acquired by Cisco) and Senior VP of Business Services at CableLabs. While at CableLabs her team of developers, software architects, and product managers built a highly successful eCommerce platform for the Cable TV market.
Before pivoting into Healthcare, Jenifer worked as a startup consultant. Her move into Healthcare was driven by a desire to accelerate Healthcare’s digital transformation. She established product strategies for a hospital transport automation product line and prepared a pharmacy eCommerce pitch for VCs.
Ms. Cistola earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She is an Emeritus Alumni Advisory Board member for the ISyE school. She was awarded the “Engineering Excellence” award by Georgia Tech and was recognized as one of the 50 most powerful women in Cable Technology.
Jenifer lives in Broomfield, Colorado with her husband (whom she met at Georgia Tech) and her Aussiedoodle. She has adult twin daughters who have followed in Jenifer’s footsteps working at SaaS companies (including Zoom).
