Undergraduate Teaching Assistant
Being an undergraduate teaching assistant is an excellent way to share your knowledge, develop confidence and prepare for leadership roles. Qualified undergraduate students can fulfill several roles, depending on the needs and the nature of the course/laboratory. All first-time Teaching Assistants (TAs) are required to participate in an orientation program.
Graduate Teaching Assistants
Teaching assistants (TAs) are students enrolled in the Graduate School who are assigned instructional duties in a course. TAs should work under the supervision of experienced faculty members to develop teaching skills in the academic discipline. Serving as a TA is an exceptional opportunity to build and demonstrate mastery in your discipline while perfecting your presentation skills and individual consulting.
