Outside of academics I am involved in greek life and love to travel, explore outdoors, and try different foods.

My name is Amaya McNealey and I am a 3rd year Industrial Engineering PhD student. My research interests include addressing various clinical and public health issues including health policy and equity using data science/statistics and machine learning. Outside of research, I enjoy baking and crafting. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in public policy/government.

My name is Ava Sun, and I am currently a second year Industrial and Systems Engineering major. I am one of the MentIE Student Leaders and one of the cofounders of the Women in Industrial and Systems Engineering program. My hobbies include running, working out at the gym, exploring the outdoors, reading, and listening to different types of music. I plan to graduate in May 2027 with a concentration in Supply Chain or Economic & Financial Systems.
