Braden Krohn

My name is Braden Krohn. I am a third year from Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently working towards my undergraduate bachelor's in industrial engineering and graduate master's in operations research. Outside of classes, I really enjoy hiking, skiing, intramural sports, and construction projects. After college I plan to work in either consulting or operations management.

Amaya McNealey

My name is Amaya McNealey and I am a 3rd year Industrial Engineering PhD student. My research interests include addressing various clinical and public health issues including health policy and equity using data science/statistics and machine learning. Outside of research, I enjoy baking and crafting. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in public policy/government.

Sofia Meirelles Saboia

Sofia is a rising sophomore Industrial Engineering student, originally from São Paulo, Brazil. On campus, she is involved in the Investments Committee, as a sector head in the financial sector; she is part of the founding committee of the Women in Industrial Engineering (WISyE) organization; and is an analyst in the Student Outreach division of the Brazilian Student Association (BRASA). Sofia is interested in Finance and Consulting as career paths, and is interning this summer at BTG Pactual, one of the largest banks in Latin America.

My name is Anna Victoria, and I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am currently a third year ISyE major, with a concentration in analytics and data science and a minor in Economics. On campus, I am also secretary for BRASA - Brazilian Student Association. Outside my academic-professional life, I enjoy playing soccer, traveling and trying new restaurants.

My name is Izzy Mrzyglod, and I am a second-year Industrial Engineering student from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I work as a CASE student assistant, contributing to the MentIE Student-Alumni Mentorship program and the Women in Industrial & Systems Engineering organization. Outside of my academics, I enjoy long-distance running, traveling, and outdoor recreation activities.

Shiv Patel

Student Assistant

Shiv Patel is a third-year Industrial Engineering student from Fort Mill, SC with a concentration in analytics and data science and a minor in Microeconomics of Strategic Analysis. He plans on graduating in Fall 2026 then continuing with Tech's BS/MS program in Data Analytics. On campus, he is also involved with Epic Intentions, UCC, and serves as a undergraduate TA in the IE department. In his free time he enjoys exploring coffee shops around Atlanta, spending time with friends, and playing pickleball and tennis.

Anjolaoluwa Popoola

Anjolaoluwa Popoola is 4th year PhD Student in Machine Learning at the H.Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She is currently advised by Kamran Paynabar. She received her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in biology from the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, and her Master’s degree in Operations Research from Georgia Tech. Broadly, her research interests include developing and utilizing machine learning methodologies and algorithms to solve prevalent challenges in healthcare and social welfare. Her current research focuses on glucose management, nutritional health and homelessness.

Natalie Que

Hi! I’m Natalie Que, an ambitious sophomore industrial engineer from Arcadia, California, hoping to concentrate in Analytics & Data Science. In the future, I hope to create a consulting firm for international small businesses. I am passionate about how industrial engineers can help save lives by improving our healthcare system. I have two cats, Maki and Momo, and I am a boba connoisseur. My hobbies include baking, ceramics, basketball, and binge watching Kdramas. At Tech, I'm a part of Grand Challenges LLC, Seek Discomfort FLO, 180 Degrees Consulting, and Journey Christian Fellowship.

My name is Ava Sun, and I am currently a second year Industrial and Systems Engineering major. I am one of the MentIE Student Leaders and one of the cofounders of the Women in Industrial and Systems Engineering program. My hobbies include running, working out at the gym, exploring the outdoors, reading, and listening to different types of music. I plan to graduate in May 2027 with a concentration in Supply Chain or Economic & Financial Systems.

Martin Svobodkov

Student Assistant

My name is Martin Svobodkov, and I am an ISyE Major specializing in Financial & Economic Systems graduating in Spring 2026. I am of Bulgarian decent and grew up in Cumming, Georgia. My hobbies include playing soccer, golfing, and I'm a huge motorsport fan. At Georgia Tech, I am part of the GTSF Investment Committee where I serve as the current Director of Continuing Education, and I also participate in the Intramural Soccer League. In the future, I would love to work in the financial industry either in Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Financial Controlling. I really look forward to providing my knowledge and experience to anyone who is interested in ISyE!
