About

As Americold's VP of Engineering Solutions, Jason leads the development of the Supply Chain Strategy, Design, and Development functions for the largest publicly traded cold storage logistics company in the world with 242 facilities in 14 countries across 4 continents. Some of his key functions and responsibilities include:
• Manage a global staff of ~60 in merging the Supply Chain Solutions with the Design and Project Engineering departments in the solutioning, operations design and implementation of all new business projects; this includes data analytics to define business requirements, financial cost buildup, design rationale, direct productivities/headcount, indirect staffing, opportunity evaluation, capital justification and executive alignment
• Responsible for responding up to 200 supply chain opportunities a year in North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand for Americold’s design/build/operate strategy through a large growth period, which included going public
• Lead the 3PL supply chain and warehouse solutions development for many of the largest food manufacturers and distributors in the world, including Conagra, Lamb Weston, Unilever, Safeway, Woolworths Australia, Ahold, Tyson, and Kraft Heinz
• Drive competitive edge and customer value through analytics, network optimization, and design innovation, including defining applications for high bay storage (ASRS), robotic layer picking, case/pallet shuttles, and automated mixed case palletization

Jason brings over 30 years of experience and leadership in supply chain strategy, analytics, design, engineering, implementation and operations. Prior to Americold, Jason held strategic supply chain roles with Fortna, Ross Stores, and The Gap. At those companies, he operated large fulfillment distribution centers as well as designed, implemented and assessed/triaged over 60 new development or existing distribution centers.

Jason lives in Roswell with his wife Shelley and his two children. When he’s not working, he enjoys boating on the lake and touring microbreweries.
