The CASE team is excited to introduce the new Common Hour, a weekly review program to enhance student learning in their ISyE courses. Academic discussions have proven to be invaluable in promoting deep learning, critical thinking, and active engagement among students. The Common Hour is aimed to create a strong support network involving the faculty, the Tas, and the students. By integrating academic discussions into the courses, we can enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration. CASE believes that TAs, as discussion facilitators, play a crucial role in nurturing an intellectually stimulating learning environment.
